800 grams | Pizza tomatoes (canned) |
1 tbsp | Tomato paste |
20 g | fresh basil leaves |

500 grams | Penne |
some | grated Parmesan cheese |
Penne alla Napolitana Recipe Directions
Heat oil in a large frying pan. Finely chop the onion and garlic, add and fry about 2 minutes. Finely dice the carrot and celery, and cook for about 2 minutes.
Add tomatoes and tomato pizza. Simmer for 20 minutes with occasional stirring. Stir in crushed basil, and season with salt and pepper.
While the sauce cooks, cook noodles according to package directions. Serve sprinkled with grated Parmesan.
