Pumpkin soup with chestnuts Recipe Directions
Peel the onion and chop finely. Wash and clean the leeks, halve lengthwise, cut into narrow strips. Pumpkin flesh into small cubes.
Saute onion and leeks in the butter. Add pumpkin and chestnuts, pour broth, bring to a boil. Cook over low heat the pumpkin soft, then mash coarsely.
Soup with cream and orange juice to boil, add the spices. Garnished with orange peel and maybe dill and serve.
