Cherries in Amaretto Recipe

Wash cherry stalks and remove the stones. Here the juice in a Schüsel.

Wash lemons and grate the peel hot. Squeeze out juice. Rock candy in a plastic bag and crush finely (eg with a rolling pin). Cherries with aufgefangenem juice, sugar, lemon juice and lemon zest and mix overnight in a cool place (not the refrigerator) can be drawn.

Halve the vanilla bean lengthwise and cut each into eight pieces. Cherries on jars with twist-off lid, distribute, give two pieces of glass in each vanilla bean. Amaretto mixed with rum and spread the liquid onto the jars of cherries. Jars tightly.

After three weeks, the cherries are so solid, that you can serve them.
