Recipe Ingredients for Saure Zipfel

4 pcs | large onion |
150 ml | Vinegar |
3 tbsp | Sugar |
1 tsp | Peppercorns |
2 pcs | Bay leaves |
Saure Zipfel Recipe Directions
1 liter of water and 100 ml of vinegar with some salt and sugar in a saucepan.
Peel the onion and cut into rings, add to the boiling brew.
Add the peppercorns and bay leaves. Everything about 20 minutes to simmer and season to taste. If it is too sweet, add a little vinegar and it should be too acidic, add a little sugar.
Once the onions are nice and soft, but are still al dente, add the Nuremberg sausages and pull for about 5-10 minutes (but do not boil).
