Dice the onion in a little more and mix it with the stew, season with salt, pepper and paprika and fry in a little oil. Thicken, add a little ketchup or tomato paste and leave. Deglaze with vegetable broth, add some dark gravy and simmer for one and a half hours. Season sauce with the spices and thicken with corn flour.
Meanwhile, drain the peas and carrots and absorb the broth here. Melt some butter in a saucepan and fry flour in it. Deglaze with the broth and collected to give the peas and carrots into it again. Season with a pinch of salt and some sugar.
