Recipe Ingredients for Festive Roast

1 pc Roll ham (about 4 to 5 pounds)
L 1 Pinot Noir
1 pc Onion
some Celery
1 pc Carrot
some Parsley
some Butter fat
some Sugar
some Salt
4 pinches Black Forest cherry brandy
1 tbsp Flour
4 tbsp Cream
some Tomato paste

Festive Roast Recipe Directions

Ham and simmer about 2 hours in water. Then carefully remove the rind and place the ham in a roasting pan. Red wine and onion cut into cubes, celery, carrot and parsley over the ham.

Bake in preheated oven about 1 hour, with frequent basting roast. Then cut the fat side crosswise, sprinkle the surface with sugar and pour over with kirsch. The ham is placed back into the oven so that it iced.

The gravy with a little ham broth boil and thicken with flour and cream. Pour the sauce through a sieve and season with salt and tomato paste. The ham is served in slices on a festive plate.
