Broccoli and ham casserole Recipe Directions
First, cut the broccoli into small florets and chop the stems. The ham and onions into cubes. The tortellini and cook the broccoli for about ten minutes.
Now the butter in a saucepan and stir in the flour. Thicken with milk, cream and cottage cheese. Season with salt and pepper and squeeze the garlic into it. Finally, add the onions and cook about ten minutes.
All alternate layers in a greased casserole dish. Start with the tortellini, then the broccoli, ham and finally the sauce. Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese as the last and put the pat of butter on top.
The covered casserole at 200 degrees about 30 minutes, bake, then cover with no more than 15 minutes, until cheese is nicely crisp.
