1 kg | Elderberries (stemmed and washed) |
1 kg | Apples (cored) |
4 tbsp | Sugar |
Appleelderberry compote Directions
Apples into wedges. Alternating with the stemmed elderberries in hot flushed Einkochgläser (Weck, 1 / 2 liters) to fill four inches below the rim. Add 1 tablespoon of sugar per glass. Fill with boiling water to 2 inches below the rim.
