Anchoade kitchen island Directions
20 anchovy fillets in a large mortar type. Also included are two large ripe figs, diced with peel, four peeled and finely chopped garlic cloves, 4 tablespoons olive oil, chopped onion and a piece of stale, torn white bread.
I crush the ingredients fine until a puree is formed. Or they mixe if no mortar is available. Season with salt and pepper.
