15 grams | Yeast |
1 pinch | Sugar |
150 ml | Water (lukewarm) |
1 pinch | Salt |
2 tsp | Lard (soft) |
1 pc | Onion |
1 tbsp | Butter |
1 tbsp | Oil |
60 g | Bacon (lean) |
100 grams | Quark |
60 g | Whipped cream |
1 pc | Egg |
1 pinch | white pepper |
1 pinch | Nutmeg |
Alsatian Tarte I Directions
Prepare yeast dough. Preheat oven to 250 degrees off.
Peel onion, cut into rings, fry in butter and oil until translucent. Bacon into very thin strips. Cottage cheese with cream, egg and spices mix.
Knead the dough into quarters, roll out each piece very thin. Pancake on a lightly greased baking sheet, sprinkle with cheese mixture, sprinkle onion and bacon. On the middle shelf of about ten to twelve minutes until the cakes are light flame bright golden yellow. Serve warm.
