Bandgobhi aur matar cabbage with peas Recipe Directions
Wash the cabbage in half and remove the stalk. In very fine, long strips cut or planed. Heat the oil in a saucepan over medium heat. Cumin and bay leaves into the hot oil. Pour in cabbage and peas and stir for half a minute - after a few seconds - if the beginnenm bay leaves to change color.
Turmeric, cayenne pepper and sprinkle with chilli and stir. Everything covered over low heat for another two or three minutes. Remove the lid and sprinkle garam masala and sugar. Stir gently. Remove the bay leaves before serving.
